SAN FRANCISCO — Wine Institute has launched a new California Wines Road Trip video www.discovercaliforniawines.com/roadtrip that is a virtual tour of California’s scenic wine regions and iconic landmarks inspiring viewers to take advantage of dozens of special events, activities and offers that celebrate California Wine Month in September.

Consumer tastings in Los Angeles on Thursday, Sept. 6 and in San Francisco on Saturday, Sept. 22, continue the virtual road trip through California wine country with a tasting of wines from more than 15 regions around the state presented by vintners, growers and representatives from each region. Guests can taste more than 70 California wines with artisanal cheeses and salumi at The Peninsula Beverly Hills from 6-9 pm on Sept. 6 and at the San Francisco Ferry Building Grand Hall from 2-5 pm on Sept. 22. Participating regions include: El Dorado, Lake County, Livermore Valley, Lodi, Mendocino, Monterey, Madera, Napa Valley, Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz Mountains, Sonoma and Temecula. Visit www.discovercaliforniawines.com/roadtrip for tickets, information on winery events around the state throughout September and more.

Wine Institute is the association of more than 1,000 California wineries and wine-related businesses dedicated to enhancing the environment for the responsible production, consumption and enjoyment of wine.
