Description:

Pacific Gas and Electric Company, based in San Francisco, is one of the largest combination natural gas and electric utilities in the United States. In addition to PG&E's primary business—the transmission and delivery of energy—PG&E also provides tools, resources, information, and incentives to it's customers to promote energy efficiency, self generation, and demand response participation. This includes:

  • Free on-site energy analysis
  • Bill analysis, including rates and time-of-use
  • Retrofit energy efficiency recommendations, calculation support and rebates and incentives
  • New construction energy efficiency design assistance, rebates and incentives
  • Technical assistance and technical incentives to implement demand-response-enabling technologies
  • Rebates for installing self generation technologies, such as solar.
