Holland & Knight's Alcohol Beverage Team focuses on the regulation of the manufacture, distribution, and sale of alcohol beverages. The firm's alcohol beverage industry professionals have experience representing clients at all levels of the American three-tiered system, as well as international experience with licensed beverage importers and exporters. Because the alcohol beverage industry is a unique and heavily regulated industry, we use a broad range of lawyers and other professionals to represent our clients. Our Alcohol Beverage Team is headed by Michael Newman, resident in our San Francisco office, and includes former state and federal alcohol beverage regulators such as Manuel Espinoza (the former Director of California's Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control).

Holland & Knight's San Francisco Office also has a premier environmental and land use group of attorneys headed by Jennifer Hernandez that addresses the full range of legal issues confronting California wineries including air, wetlands, endangered species, storm water, streambed alteration agreements and historic preservation.
