The Michigan Liquor Control Commission released an Administrative Order August 9, 2006 approving ChoicePoint as a Certified Age Verification Service. Wineries with an approved Direct Shipper’s License for Michigan are required to obtain a copy of the consumer’s photo ID or use an approved Age Verification Service before shipping the wine directly to the consumer.
